Role Overview:

We are looking for a motivated Social Media Specialist to help manage, create, and optimise content across multiple social media platforms. The ideal candidate has a basic understanding of all major social platforms, a creative eye for design, and strong communication skills. This role will support our marketing team in building brand presence and engagement online.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Assist in managing social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Twitter

✅ Create visually appealing content using Canva and other design tools

✅ Schedule and post content across platforms following brand guidelines

✅ Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and monitor social interactions

✅ Assist in developing content calendars and campaign strategies

✅ Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new content ideas

✅ Proofread and edit captions, posts, and creative copy for clarity and engagement

✅ Track social media metrics and generate basic performance reports

✅ Stay up-to-date with trends, hashtags, and platform updates to optimise engagement

✅ Support campaigns, contests, and paid social media initiatives

Required Skills

✅ Basic understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices

✅ Eye for creative detail and visual design

✅ Proficient in Canva or similar design tools

✅ Strong written and verbal communication skills

✅ Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent voice

✅ Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks

✅ Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics

✅ Creativity and willingness to learn
