Social Gravity Google Ads Reporting Tool
Social Gravity Ltd is a digital marketing agency based in Dublin, Ireland. We manage Google Ads campaigns for trades and home services businesses across Ireland and the United Kingdom.
This page explains the purpose of the Social Gravity application that connects to the Google Ads API.
What the tool does
The tool is an internal reporting and account hygiene application built and used by Social Gravity.
It connects to the Google Ads API using OAuth 2.0 credentials tied to our Google Ads manager account. A scheduled job runs once a day and pulls performance data from the advertiser accounts linked to that manager account into our own database.
Our team uses the interface to review spend, impressions, clicks, conversions and cost per conversion across every account we manage, at campaign, ad group, keyword and location level, and to export a PDF performance report for each client.
A restricted section of the tool allows senior paid media staff to add negative keywords and to pause or enable campaigns and ad groups. Every change is confirmed by the user before it is sent and is recorded in an audit log.
Who can use it
The tool is for Social Gravity employees only.
Access is granted to named members of our account management and paid media team and is controlled by role-based permissions. The tool is not a public product. It is not sold, licensed or offered to anyone outside our company, and clients do not have logins. Clients receive static PDF performance reports prepared and sent by their account manager.
What data the tool accesses
The tool reads Google Ads campaign, ad group, keyword, location and conversion performance data for the advertiser accounts we manage. Every account is linked to our manager account with the written consent of the account owner, and links are removed when an engagement ends.
The tool does not access Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, or any personal Google account data.
How we protect that data
Credentials and access tokens are stored encrypted and are never shared with third parties. Advertiser data is stored in our own private database, kept separate per account, and is never sold or transferred to anyone other than the advertiser it belongs to. We comply with the Google Ads API Terms and Conditions and the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
